Nicolas releases his debut solo album for Ondine, Beethoven: Grosse Fuge, on 2 October. The recording pairs Beethoven’s Sonata in F major, Op. 54 and the mighty ‘Hammerklavier’ Sonata, Op. 106, with Nicolas’s own piano arrangement of the Grosse Fuge, Op. 133.
