About

Imogen’s work is grounded in a simple principle: every decision must protect and serve each musician, both right now and for their career ahead. She began in artist management in 2012 at Hazard Chase, working with instrumentalists and conductors, and went on to guide a distinguished roster as a director at James Brown Management. In 2026 she founded Morris Artists so that work could continue under her own name — with the same values, and the same close attention that earned the trust of artists and promoters alike.

That continuity is the point. Morris Artists is a new company, but not a standing start: its roster is a group of international musicians who have chosen to keep working with the person who has shaped their careers for years. The scale is deliberately small, ensuring the focus remains entirely personal.

Imogen read Mathematics and Music at the University of Leeds, where she played in numerous ensembles, founded the clarinet choir, and managed the Symphonic Wind Orchestra. She completed internships with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and the agency Konzertdirektion Schmid before joining Hazard Chase. She serves on the advisory board of Young People in the Arts (YPIA), and still plays the clarinet and piano. Outside of music she enjoys yoga, travel and good food.
